Being a Taxes SI group though, it would have been nice if the elected party were one that would be expected to lower taxes. Well lets hope the promises made by the Liberals on the taxation front are kept. My main complaint (about what they promised) is that no matter how much taxes are cut (this applies to provincial governements as well - at least in Quebec and Ont), the top marginal tax rate always stays relatively constant. There is a definite lack of will to believe that high top marginal tax rates do a disservice to long term economic growth.
