the soviet-like arrogance of these bureacrats is just incredible.
he overshot with his last easing in '98 provoking the bubble in the first place and the notion of the stock market as a riskless place, so his friends at Goldman Sachs & others could recover what they lost during the Russian crisis, and now he overshoots from the other side to negate the effects of his previous overshootings.
either this guy is an idiot, or more likely, he's doing it deliberately for some purpose.
it's almost irrelevant if marionette Bush or puppet Gore win the election, because it's people like Greenspan, who noone elected democratically and who has so much discretionary power, and others, small in number but very organized, who are really running the country behind curtains.
these people control (and have controled for centuries and perfected its mechanisms more and more) a well-oiled 3-pronged money-making machine, all the more powerful since it acts in unison and behind the scenes:
1) banks/brokerages (where the goyim naively deposit their money for them to speculate, feeding and perpetuating the process);
2) media/news agencies (can manipulate public opinion and markets at will, and through them most other things);
3) key positions in power (they influence weak, corrupt, "democratically elected" governments with 4-year terms and know all key economic and political decisions in advance).
this is pure alchemy my friends, making money out of nothing.
and before you start calling me names for these ideas, let me say that i really admire these guys, for this devilish machinery they've devised and built through the centuries, it's a trader's dream... |
