Well, that's certainly the Democrat party line spin isn't it

I believe the high court will stand with the legislature. The FLSC had no reason to call for a "stay", and adjudicate the Democrat process in such a partisan way.

Further, in two instances the brief filed by the Gore team contained lies. Once when they claimed Texas mandated a manual recount instead of an electronic recount, and a second time when they believed the courts ruled in favor of dimpled ballots in an Illinois case. It's pretty obvious the FLSC simply took the work of Democrat lawyers, instead of conducting their own thoughtful investigation and analysis.

Being a conservative, I don't particular like the Supreme court interjecting into a states voting methods. I would have much preferred to see the *elected* legislature take the issue on.

Either way Bush is our next President.
