Amazon cannot make it to Q4 2001 without a large cash inflow from the equity markets.

I think $100-300 million would be enough to push them over the brink into profitablity "before interest expense and other one time items", I mean, "before interest expense and other goodwill amortization", erh.. I want to say "before interest expense and other non-cash chages",... erh...

Don't worry Bezos will find a way to make the picture look rosier. I said a long time ago, he will pull all the tricks he ever learned.

IMHO last quarter accounting tricks are deceiving and fraudulent in spirit. Quite possibly even illegal (the SEC is still looking into that one so I'll reserve my judgement).
