Al: Thank you. I was beginning to think there was something
wrong with my hearing for I, too, have heard Brinker citing
the merits of the Vanguard Index 500 more than any other and
have attempted to make that point in this thread.

As you write, "One statistic he keeps mentioning is that the
Vanguard Index 500 has outperformed 75% of all managed funds..."
