The problem is that the new president will be "credited" for the mess we have now in the energy field. Bush will be blamed for the higher prices by the brain-dead that some how can't see that the trend started with the current administration in power. It is going to be a nasty heating season in the snow belt and those higher costs will have a negative affect on household budgets.
