Clinton and Gore in the WH for the past 8 yrs EARNED the respect of the financial community and the world economic markets...you see, leadership is an EARNED trait, not an inherited one. When will it finally be accepted that Clinton/Gore had NOTHING to do with the economy the last 8 years. Alan Greenspan runs the financial part of the government not the President/Vice-President. Clinton was fortunate to be sitting in the midst of a sweet spot of technological and economic prosperity . The management of the economics was all to the credit of Greenspan who has more power than any President will ever have when handling the economy.
