Mark,
Like you, I prefer my predictions to coincide with who I like better. Some time ago I was involved in a Fantasy Football leage, where you "draft" different players from many teams, and you gain points based on their respective performances. The problem was, it was difficult for me when, for example, the 49ers played my team (Cleveland) and I found myself secretly hoping my star receiver Jerry Rice would catch the ball in the end zone. So, I quit the "league" after that one year so that I could get totally behind my team. (Of course, the next season I had no team.....but that is a different story).
As long as I'm totally losing my train of thought, I have a $10 bet at the Las Vegas Club that Cleveland will win the Super Bowl this year. Wanna guess what my odds are?

But back to the subject. The Vargas v. Trinidad fight has me completely conflicted. I really like Trinidad, and I really dislike Vargas. However, I also believe that Vargas has what it takes to be a champion IN THE RING. It is a little like when Tyson fought McNeely (sp?). I hate Tyson and I wanted my local guy to win, but I knew it could never happen (heck, McNeely got his clock cleaned by Butterbean!).

Okay, enough ranting.
