Agilent Technologies to Hold Security Analysts Meeting

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 29, 2000--Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A), a leading provider of innovative technologies for communications and life sciences, is hosting a meeting for security analysts, industry analysts and members of the media on Nov. 30 in New York City.

The theme for the meeting is "Enabling Next-Generation Networks," and it will focus on Agilent's contributions to the communications revolution. About 80 percent of Agilent's business is in the communications arena. Senior Agilent executives will give a financial review of the company's strong first-year results. They also will talk about specific segments of the communications market, including wireless test; optical test and network solutions; and automated test.

Speakers include Ned Barnholt, Agilent president and chief executive officer; Bob Walker, executive vice president and chief financial officer; Alain Couder, chief operating officer; George Sparks, vice president and general manager, Wireless Communications; Tom White, senior vice president, Communications Solutions Group; and John Scruggs, senior vice president, Automated Test Group.

Agilent will host a live webcast of the meeting in listen-only mode from 8 a.m. to noon (EST) on Nov. 30 at www.investor.agilent.com (click on "company presentations") or www.nyse.com/agilent.
