Is there any significance in the threshold, VIX of 35? Could you explain it to me? This market is painful to say the least. I still remember that I (luckily) picked the absolute bottom of CIEN at $4 3/8 and AMCC at $3 1/4 (both split adjusted) two years ago. At that time, I sold 20 CIEN 10 puts at $2 1/4 with my last bullets. I had been averaging down CIEN from $67 at that time. How painful! I think this market is in a very similar situation. J
