I never dug into Cree to that extent, so I have no comment on any of this. But this seems a suitable time to bring up the point once again that Cree has throughout its history been free cash flow negative, and accordingly, has yet to make any true profit, despite reporting earnings. If a person owned this company outright, they would be having to raise money outside to keep the company in business. Also, it looks like Cree is at least a year or two away from becoming free cash flow positive. Part of this is being a small, rapidly growing company, and part of this is that they are in a capital intensive business, and maybe part is something else, I don't know.
