Depending on how great the slowdown is, don't you think a lot of this is already getting priced into the market?

While I believe capitulation has its place, this grinding slog to 2700 may be washing the excess away in a orderly manner instead of a mass selloff. There have been a few good drops already. I'm not believing there will not be any further compitulation, but at some time, Mr. Market should be worrying that he is going to scare the average invester (who has the majority of the dough) away permanently. Real Estate has been looking pretty good again! <gg>
