John: Indeed, you're the inspiration...

...for something I think we should all consider RIGHT NOW ... thanks for the BRCD info! Indeed, the fact that you noted and posted about it's lofty 500+ P/E is something that really caught my mindshare ... it's right there in front of us.

We can MAKE MONEY by identifying bloated P/Es which are bound to nosedive in a bear market, which I agree with Poet is upon us ...

Here are some I'm targeting and in fact, bought puts (all April) on this morning (continue to hold BRCD through tomorrow because they announce earnings today after hours):

JNPR P/E around 365 as of this morning before hours.

I bought April 80s @ 13 7/8. JUXPP.

CIEN P/E around 400 as of this morning before hours.

I bought April 72.50s @ 15.25.

Does anyone know of a link -- free or paid -- to conveniently check -- all in one place -- "severely bloated" P/E "candidates" for short purposes?

Others 200+ would include:

VRTS
JDSU
BRCM
NTAP (still)

+ many others, of course.

... you know.

I'm thinking we should find the outrageous P/Es. Then check next earnings anncmt dates. Then look at current news. Past news/fundamentals -- don't really mean much in current bear market, I'm thinking.

The first hint of Fed ease, get the hell back in.

What do y'all think?
