Not necessarily. The 3rd day(today) should be similar in size to the previous 2 days, so if the NDX closes around negative 100 that would ice that formation. Negative 75 may do it also, but better if around negative 100. Also there should not be a large lower shadow, a small one fits.

"IDENTICAL" is not in reference to the size, its in reference to the open and close. So DAY 2 opens near/at DAY 1's close, and DAY 3 opens near/at DAY 2's close. Thats the meaning of "identical" versus the plain 3-CROWs.
