The numbers magically turned around and Bush ended up several hundred votes ahead by the end of the evening. Scumbria- If a Mexican presidential election hinged on the results from a state where the governor was the brother of one of the candidates and the campaign manager was calling shots on which votes will and will not be counted, we would think it was just another example of business-as-usual in Mexico. After all, what good does it do to have a brother/governor and a Secretary of State/campaign manager if they can't help you out when you really, really need it?
