Is it me, or do the numbers tell a different story than the press release?
>Sales for the quarter are expected to be $50 million to $53 million. FSI said this would be below expectations due to a customer-requested delay in the shipment of equipment. FSI said the delayed shipment of equipment represents about $6 million in sles. <
Hmmm, using the 10% net profit number from their SEC filings, would equal $600,000.
With shares outstannding approx. = 22,500,000 that equals roughly less than $.03/ share.
If the corp's #s of a loss of $.10-.15 are correct, and if the $6 million sale equates to $.03, then notwithstanding this sale, they would have reported a loss anyway!
So, what does all this mean. That the co. was trying to put the blame for the alleged 3Q loss on one sale?
Seems that way to me. And, guess what, so far it has worked b/c this baby is holding steady at just under $14. |
