heinz, you and others have looked at the nikkei v. naz and various retracement levels. Another way of looking at it would be how many months of gains did the nikkei blowoff wipe out? Check out the link posted by hunchback. You can see from the 3rd chart that the Naz clearly went up much faster at the end. The Naz being at last years levels now doesn't seem like much of a blowoff for a short term bottom to me. If the Naz were to wipe out as many months of gains at the first nikkei blow off did, what level would that put it at? FWIW
