F- you are entitled to disagree. but I TRADE most of my portfolio $$
Intraday.. I will not wait two weeks.. unless I really like something.. or I have it earmarked as a safe hold to "short other issues against"
I suggest that you read some texts on options and continue your quest to learn more of the angles..
lets say you start w/10k.. you set the stop at 7%..
$9300 then the next one flops-8649- and ohh no a third loser-
8043.27... PLUS commission and interest as Oneill suggests that you use a margin to gain more..
avg is 25 one way per trade. some offer less, I use datek, and pay 9.99.
so my cost would be another $60= roughly 7900{incl comm}
of cours the math works fantastic the other way, compounding your gains as you go..
but the street doesn't always produce winners.
anyway- the chances of success with a small portfolio forces you to commit to picking only one or two of those picks.
anyway- the picks would change as the prices vary.. your stock that fell may be a better buy{jbil-watched for a while}
I would say that INTC fits canslim..yet I don't have it in my portfolio as stock- I will play the calls once in a while-
anyway-
the pressures of life{i mean wife} are calling
ciao,
taxi
