Mike,

>>Jeb until he rigged the vote in Florida.<<

Do you really believe that?

Granted, there were problems with the ballots, machines, etc... But it appears the problems had little to do with deliberate attempts by the Pubs to get the best of it. They are old problems that are a factor in every election around the country. They just caught the Dems this time.

If anything, I think the Dems have done a much more vigorous job of trying to get every "subjective and controversial" issue swung to their side - often using half truths, partial counts of neighborhoods instead of the whole area, a misrepresentation of the case in Illinois etc...

The Bush camp has simply been using legal responses to legal
attempts to overturn nonsubjective but innaccurate counts that make him the winner. (g)

The way I see it, Gore may or may not have won the state if all the dimples and almost dimples count and lots of military votes don't, but in reality this should have been over a long time ago.

We should already be fixing the problems so it doesn't happen again. Then again, you already knew my view.
