<<So what is your theory as to the parts of this machine? I want your thoughts, not a picture or my own or a political party's opinion. I want you to state your opinion on the parts of the votematic machine. If you please.>>

It's a box 10"x10"x1". It has a booklet with the candidates listed and holes next to each candidate. You slide the ballot between the ballot and the box. The ballot has two holes that fit over pins and hold it in position. The box has a center panel full of holes so the ballot is supported.

The stylus is the only moving part is the stylus. You open to page one, select a candidate, insert the stylus in the corresponding hole and push down with about one ounce of pressure and the stylus moves 1/2 inch.

Then you turn the page to page 2 which has another race and the holes are offset to the right side of of the holes on page one. You select a candidate, insert the stylus in the corresponding hole and push down with about one ounce of pressure and the stylus moves 1/2 inch.......

After voting YOU CHECK your ballot. I've never found a hanging chad after voting and going by MY experience with the machine, believe hanging chads are stripped off when you remove the ballot. All in all it would take a real idiot not to get it right. I was done in thirty seconds and didn't vote straight party.
