Timothy, the problem is that Republicans were granted access to these requests exclusively. Moreover, what the GOP operatives allegedly did was a class 3 felony under Florida law. Piles of Democrat and Independent absentee ballot requests that were missing information were allowed to accumulate in the republican director of election's office and were tossed in the trash. Democrats were told to get lost when they requested similar access. Now, I don't think that two wrongs make a right and it would have been a felony for the Democrats to fill in the information as well. But, my biggest problem with this is that only republicans were allowed to correct absentee ballot requests in an area that is supposed to be politically neutral. Republicans were granted access to information that is supposed to be strictly off limits for any political party. We'll never know how the election would have turned out if this clear bias had not been affected in favor of Gov. Bush. How do you propose that the judge rule to remove the benefits that Bush received from this illegal and partisan act so the election was fair in Seminole County?
