pgerassi, re:...counter argument... Very well written. I might also add that Windy's proposed remedy (throwing out all absentee votes) has the effect of disenfranchising thousands of voters who did absolutely nothing wrong (including those whose applications were "improved"). If I were one of them, I would be outraged at not having my vote counted. Let those who did wrong (if any) suffer the consequences, not those who voted in good faith. ~dbf
