Sorry. Just wanted to post and expose the fact that I was right all along about Rasmussen being a GOP tool. His Portrait Of America polls always showed Bush with a big lead. I remember he had Bush up by 12% in Washington at one point, for instance. I got attacked alot for suggesting he was wrong by dittoheads. The results prove I was right. Rasmussen had bush up by 9% the day before the election and Gore won it by 300,000 instead. Anyone who goes on Rush Limbaugh and courts the Religious right shouldn't be allowed to be a national pollster. Maybe a private GOP pollster but nothing more. From now on I only pay attention to Zogby and the network polls. Though even CNN hd is wacky some days with their 10%+ swings. I always knew this would be the closest election possible and it sure was. Not even a 1% difference. I was also right to fear Nader. I spent days e-mailing Nader supporters in battleground states to bow out. Most of their support bailed but the core Nader group remained defiant. As predicted they may have given us Bush. Oh well. What more could have been done?
