The trouble is that no one knows what "normal" means and "historical" numbers have little to do with the dynamism of today's markets.

"Historical" p/e's from the 80's & 90's look at Sun as a vendor of workstations for the scientific/engineering market. That has little to do with the internet.

All the euphoria has been dampened by party-pooper AG, but there's no reason I can think of why that shouldn't return, once interest rates come down.
