The only other variables are switching K6XX and Athlon Classic to Duron.

If my memory serves:
K6xx, Duron,some Flash, & Athlon classic are Texas.

T-Bird is Dresdin. Dresdin was supposed to be starting 500 wpw in July with a 100%/Quarter acceleration rate for 2 quarters. 80% 'Yield at 1000MHz or better'.

Lots of those wafers should have been been delivered.

More than enough to make 2Meg. CPUS.

Some people around here(and one may be me) are in denial.

I currently think the 80%(1G or better reference) was of die that worked, & that *AT BEST* 30% of die test OK from Dresden.

Something stinks around here, like it hasn't stunk since the fall of '97.
