David, Don't believe this environment matches 1998 (>>Russia defaulting, Asian crisis at its peak, LTCM failing etc.<<). IMO, were seeing distribution by the billion dollar mutual funds and the cry of "Fire" at the bottom. At some point they will start buying and a rally will follow, probably after the election confirmation....!(of Gore) <smile> That rally may fail early in 2001. Also, the dollar will stay high and the price of oil around $30.00.
