is that tech, or dotcom?

I only listened to part of the story...so I'm not too sure of the facts.

If it is a Technology Conference than many of the participating companies would be "dot.com" companies. I can see why some are discouraged with the performance of the stock values of some of the "dot.com" stocks...but IMO too many really good companies, who are profitable or who will be profitable are being downgraded and sold by many. There are starting to be some "value stocks" in some of the dot.com companies right now!!! Wasn't it just about 6 years ago that "the Internet" was the Bulletin Board System?...The Internet Revolution is truly in the very beginning stages of its development, and some of these dot.com companies that are being "trashed" by so many will look very attractive one day.

Until this election is finalized and there is some resolution to the "interest rate" question I'm not going to be a buyer of any stocks right now. Maybe if there was an indication that major funds were beginning to invest again in the market then I would reconsider this position...but right now I'm trying to be cautious.
