Doc,

AT&T announced a similar trial earlier this year and the Canadian MSOs are mandated by law to providing OA. As far as I know ATHM is the only ISP offering services over Rogers and Shaw cable plant.

I view this OA thing as a very big opportunity for ATHM to open up a new revenue stream. Every Juno customer to be put onto the cable plant will mean a little revenue for ATHM. Similarly, the DSL providers that are imploding now could be bought by an ATHM for pennies. Become the broadband facilitator not the cable company two-bit hoe. The value goes up as ATHM begins differentiating the distribution of content.

It's the way out.
