Bombardier Concludes Major CRJ Agreement With Atlantic
Coast Airlines

TORONTO, ONTARIO--NOVEMBER 29, 2000 - 16:57 EST
Bombardier Aerospace has concluded a major sale
of 27 50-passenger CRJ* regional jets with Atlantic Coast Airlines
Holdings, Inc. (ACAI) of Dulles, Virginia for its Atlantic Coast
Airlines/United Express operation. Value of the order is estimated
at approximately U.S.$594 million (Cdn$831.6 million.).

The contract represents the conversion of 27 conditional orders to
firm orders by the airline. In August 2000, when Atlantic Coast
announced its conditional orders, it also placed three firm
CRJ200* orders that are now designated for its United Express
program. Including today's agreement, Atlantic Coast has ordered
a total of 96 CRJ200 aircraft, 34 of which are delivered and in
service.

Atlantic Coast first ordered CRJ aircraft from Bombardier in
January 1997 when it placed an order for 12 and secured options on
an additional 36. The airline's initial CRJ aircraft entered
Atlantic Coast's fleet in the summer of that year.

Atlantic Coast operates as Atlantic Coast Airlines/United Express
in the eastern and midwestern United States and as Atlantic Coast
Jet/Delta Connection in the eastern U.S. The company offers about
650 daily departures to 51 destinations in 24 states.

Today's agreement brings Bombardier's 50-passenger CRJ100/200
orderbook to 769 aircraft of which 439 are delivered and 330 are
on firm order backlog.
