Just returned from Las Vegas where I spent a few days snooping around the Online Investor Show.... I had a chat with Haris Ctorides, VP Customer Support Trading Services of DATEK Online. He informed me that Datek has opened an office in Canada and will soon offer US style trading to Canadians......$9.95 trades up to 5000 shares on the Canadian exchanges. Perhaps some real competition is headed our way now that the KYC rule has been relaxed.
