J.K.: foreign money leaving, end of the year tax selling. it dosnt look to positive from where i sit, but im trying to remain nuetral... LOL! Yah....and excepting some core positions I've extremely long term targets on I'm stalwartly, and in energetic fashion, sitting on my hands over general market conditions. Why? Well, besides your above considerations I'd also toss in slowing economic conditions, which look to be setting the stage for a major slowdown in corporate earnings for well into next year. But I'm not saying anything most folks don't already recognize. In a nutshell, this is the "be careful out there" season for the market. A season during which the main strategy should be capital preservation. And it's a season that may persist for some time.... So while it lasts I'm all about collecting cash, and making very judicious long term plays (although I'm not above trading on occasion should something "juicy" pop up, ahem). John~
