I have spent a lot of time trying to master the Elliott Wave stuff. I find that it is also a case of it works except when it doesn't.

If you use a relatively simple TA approach: RSI , MACD, Bollinger Bands, trend lines and Stochastics, then you can filter out the less likely wave patterns and find the EW stuff very useful, interms of the bigger picture.

I have looked at Gann, as in Marisch's book, some Joe Duffy materials and Connie Brown's latest book. I am about to delve into the same combination of matching TA signals with what I can learn of Gann ideas seeing what happens,if and when they confirm each other and the EW.

Any thoughts on this much appreciated.
This is becoming an interesting thread.
