All fuel cells use hydrogen including GLE's SOFC. We are carbon based lifeforms not hydrogen based. Please do not get confused between pollutants and a biologically produced greenhouse gas such as carbon dioxide or water vapour. Carbon dioxide and water vapour is what we exhale. GLE's solid oxide fuel cell is the same as us that way when using hydrocarbon fuels, and it only exhales water vapour like the other types of fuel cells when using pure hydrogen.

According to this next link you'll have to wait at least another millennium before we'll see pure hydrogen as a commonplace fuel ...
