I think Gore won the Florida vote as well. I'm now watching Attorney Bois displaying voting charts on CNN. His charts show a great, great disparity of undervotes from optical scanner voting machines and punch card voting machines. This proves, especially in Miami-Dade, that there are thousands of votes which NEVER have been counted.

The charts also show that even Broward County's tally--which did the more extensive counting of the four--still produced an undervote far larger that those produced by the optical scanners.

So what's this all about? Well, the undervotes from optical scanner system give a fair indication as to how many folks did not want to vote in the presidential election. Conclusion: Thousands of folks, using the punch-card system did not get their votes for president fairly counted.

This is why Bush doesn't want the hand recount. He knows that Gore got more votes than him. Thus, were he to assume the presidency, he'd be the first president to become president without winning both the national popular vote and the electoral college vote. I couldn't think of a greater taint on the presidency in America, which prides itself on the freedom of voting and having those votes count.

I think some of you on this thread should reconsider your position and begin advocating for Gore to get a fair hand recount!
