COGNICASE Acquires Fireworks Creative, Acquisition Part of COGNICASE's Strategy to Provide End-to-End e-Commerce Solutions
MONTREAL, CANADA--NOVEMBER 30, 2000 - 09:26 EST COGNICASE Inc. (Nasdaq: "COGI") announced today the acquisition of Fireworks Creative Inc., a Toronto based new media agency.
Founded in 1995 and employing more than 25 new media professionals in Toronto, Fireworks provides corporate clients with innovative e-business strategies, brand positioning, interface design and programming. The company's clients include Hydro One, Glaxo Wellcome, Famous Players, Shared Technologies, Office Specialty, Deloitte & Touche and the Toronto Board of Trade.
This acquisition strengthens COGNICASE's position in Canada as a company with the strategic, creative and technological capabilities to deliver complex digital solutions.
