El, I am more hopeful than you but the latest by Gateway coupled with a market perception that does not bode well for PC stocks does not help.

Getting the message out about what market share Compaq is gaining, how well they are doing, etc., cannot be done early enough and in a sense, they have to act like the lawyers on TV for the politicians, stating their case forcefully to win over public perception and differentiate themselves from the rest of the crowd, which only the more astute observers have been able to notice so far.
