If you are under the impression that Gore is a well- balanced individual, I cannot dissuade you. I do not, in any case, deny that both were privileged. I do think, though, that Bush had the more normal upbringing. As for arrogance, well, there is a vast difference between being confident in one's opinions and knowledge, and continually talking to the public as if it were composed of kindergarteners. Finally, unless you have spent some time with students from a place like St. Albans, I do not know how to convey how morbid some of them are about their career and destiny. He reminds me too much of some of those people, finally......
