Do my pipes ring true?
My source is a true blue Hong Kong telecom plumber.
Last time (3 months ago) I spoke with this Hong Kong plummest, I was told they were using NEC with CAP but we were discussing other
serious matters so I figured maybe Pat had more up-to-date info. However this time my conversation was more specific. NO Amati modem for this Fall's rollout. It is CAP NEC providing more than 4Meg.

I defend my position from the user/customer themselves. Your source
on the other hand has been from RC. He told you they had an ADI license agreement? Then how come he's not telling you anymore?
My source was straight from the Fish's mouth.
No trout for you and me. We both lose.
Your source can also be from JS himself whose told my contacts of
the done deal contract with HK telecom. Credibility for both these
sources are getting more and more suspicious. USRX was also suppose
to be a done deal right? As told to my contacts as well several
months ago.

Come on Pat and Jim. Stop being so defensive. I am an Amati believer
and am just as disheartened to hear such news. I was looking for
gold not CAP but I must look with objectivity. Pat, you on the
otherhand are a full tilt optimist. Perhaps you need to ask yourself
if you're looking at everything through gold colored lens.

Jim, sources I use are Blue Angel fellow plumbers who've
earned their stripes and are qualified, not PR junk.

Hopefully all is not bad. I'll be looking at some European pipes
in the near future and I hear I might strike gold!

Thanks SteveG for the nice post. It's appreciated since I hate
to be bearer of bad pipes.

Peter Piper (your electronic plumber)
