There is nothing offensive about the title. The world is teeming with devout people worshiping myriad different Gods.

This thread asks thinking people to consider whether or not the particular God they are believing in is a God picture that honors and advances the cause of humanity. Did you know that some countries are so full of handicapped people that they are now a burden to society? Why? Because their hands have been cut off to fulfill religious beliefs.

If you belong to one of the many Christian belief systems, you have already REPLACED GOD: You have replaced all their pictures of God with the one that you believe in. At the same time, you have replaced all the other Gods, outside of Christianity--all those Gods that humanity worships across this globe, again...with your own peculiar representation of God. So you see, how do you justify denying to others...the very rights that you grant to yourself??

The problem is not in the thread, but rather in your rush to judgement--without having read the thread.

This thread takes a moral stance against such crimes as infanticide, murder, etc. I don't think it is healthy to worship a God that represents, epitomizes, and justifies...the worst of human vices and cruelties.

I am offended that you would find this offensive. Respectfully as well...
