scott... "fed not understanding of new economy dynamics" hell, they weren't so adept at managing the old economy dynamics....every post war recession was fed induced...increasing rates in itself are inflationary...cost of borrowing is always passed on from the producer to the consumer...same dynamic regardless of style of economy...... used to be a time when markets were obsessed with m1 and m2 supply.....haven't heard any talking heads mention money supply in years.....guess new economy metrics replaced them? ed
