Both T and NT are making news in opposite directions. T is shedding 2nd generation wireless business, for fear of 3rd generation wireless installation cost. But the divestitude is good for the cash flow. T is going to be an interesting investment.

NT is doing the first mile again, seems like the last mile is almost done. So, some reinventing is good for new business. Small south american franchise will test out the concept[from new telephone(cable modem instead of ADSL) headend(first mile Voip homes and offices) to backbone(internet); instead of from backbone to headend(last mile cable customers)]. I think I am right, taking from their news release? In the end, it is cable system expanding into the ADSL or T1 world. They can probably install them faster than the ADSL meshed world of net works, putting cable plants into offices or large homes. Is that why the cash from ANTC?
