I think that AG was led into the disastrous rate hike by market mania which was totally fixated on trying to get the FED out of the picture. Greenspan stood by willing and able to provide the market with a change in policy that has no rational justification at this time. Bond yields have fallen from 6.25 back to 5.58, pricing in a very high probability that the FED must do something.
