OT: Last Comment on Interest Rates

With the collapse in corporate profits stemming from his endless process of interest rates hikes (it reminds me alot of the recount process), we don't have to worry about higher prices. Personally, I think that the whole inflation scare was the result of the fallout from higher oil prices. I fail to see the logic of raising interest rates to battle higher oil prices except that it inflates the value of the dollar relative to the foriegn currencies of countries controlling the oil supply. I'm merely pointing out that the market is beginning to discount a change in FED policy.
