And I believe it is their open hypocrisy with regard to "cherry-picking" certain select democratic counties for recount after recount of anonymous ballots, claiming that "every vote represents a human voice", yet they are unwilling to lend MORE credence to the absentee ballots that ARE NOT ANONYMOUS, have been signed by the voter, and can be readily verified.

Ron, a couple of points:

"Cherry-picking" is the method prescribed by Florida law, which permits each party to ask for recounts in up to 4 counties within 72 hours of the election. It may be stupid, but it is the law. The Republican tactic has been to blame the Democrats (who are admittedly scrapping for votes and have their fair share of hypocrisy) for every stupidity of Florida election law. Anything to stop a recount. This "recount after recount" line is nonsense. Only Broward and Volusia have been recounted officially. Palm Beach County's recount is not official, and Dade never got recounted.

Nothing in our election process says anything about giving more credence to absentee ballots; the usual presumption of the law is that absentee ballots are more prone to fraud and must be carefully certified. Therefore the Florida laws about dates, postmarks, voter ids, etc.
