Why is not the fact that we are now trading at 2550 SCARY to anyone??? I keep hearing people still talking about necessary 'capitulation'. They were saying that back in the 2950's. We are 400+ points from there, where nobody ever thought we'd be. I can't imagine that just because everyone 'expects' windowjumpers that the market won't turn around. The market will turn around when we have 1 a new pres, 2 greenspan lowering interest rates, 3. oil and inflation are less of a risk, 4. investor sentiment becomes less bearish.

I'm sorry, kabbot, this is not directed at you. But I just don't agree with the masses that suggest that we 'need' a capitulated falling of the sky to move forward. If that happened, we'd still come right back down to these levels. We are in a bear market until most or all of the 4 above factors have changed. *until* that happens, I will short all rallys because there just is no good reason to go long and stay long unless your timeframe is way out there in the distance.

My .02

maybe it was a quarter...
