Talk about wanting to have your cake and eat it to. You want to keep all the Christian moral and ethical virtues while denying the underlying basis for them.

Firstly, Greg: Why try to be intentionally misleading? Those were not my words. It was one of thousands of links I could have attached for the purpose of letting a new visitor to the thread understand that "God" here refers to the generic idea of God, and is not confined to any particular prejudice. It is not necessary for me to tell you that I don't stand behind every word of every link I post; Nor does any human being when they have the capacity to think for themselves.

Now, having said that, let me say this: I am amazed and disapointed, in a society that values FREEDOM OF RELIGION and FREE THOUGHT--that you would pretend that their values, and ethical virtues, have been lifted from the Christian canon of dogmas. I am disappointed because I know that you know better.
