I'll bet there is a sizable minority in the military who actually likes Clinton, or at least holds more respect for him than the majority of their peers.

I assume private. But the way that guy explained it, you'd think it's illegal to even privately criticize your Commander-In-Chief. (He clarified himself later to my satisfaction.)

P.S. - Gore's camp is now arguing that only 14,000 ballots are in dispute, and not the much larger number that the Bush camp says should be included in the pile of disputed ballots. Gee, nice of Gore to hand-pick only those ballots which may help him only, and not the tons of other ballots which may help Bush.
