Zeev: First, an apology to the thread. I don't know how I did that, but I went back to my prior post to include an excerpt from Raging Bull that commented on the magnitude of capital destruction that has occurred from both the Willshires peak of March 24, and from election day, until now. To paraphrase Carl Sagan....."Trillions and Trillions!!"

I somehow ended up having it repeated on the posting over and over and over again. To the tune of.....er.....7 or 8 times!?! Sheeesh! Sorry folks!!

Anyway....maybe we'll get a little pop in things between now and Januaary, but a paradigm shift has occurred in market sentiment. Where it use to be buy all dips; now it appears it's sell all rallies. And when you consider all the factors stacked against the market generally that will probably over-whelm any final Presidential decision, and then juxtapose this against the reality that we're now about to waltz into another round of bad earnings news.....well...there's an old Chinese curse that's appropriate for days such as these....."May you live in interesting times...."

I'd say things sure are THAT, eh? ;-)

John~
