Dave, here's card reader info

The credit card is a "Fusion smart Visa card"

Offered by Fleet Boston Financial (what a coincidence - Fleet is affiliated with or owns Suretrade. Maybe I'll be able to use it to fund my stock account.)

Website is fusioncard.com

Free card reader (from the website: During our promotional period, ending December 15, 2000, your first Card Reader will be free of charge. Additional Readers (USB or Serial) are $19.95 each plus $4.95 shipping and handling per reader.) Kind of nice that they pay the shipping, additional units are only $19.95, and that it's available as both USB and serial.

The card reader itself is a Gemplus 430. Here's the website with their tech specs:
gemplus.fr

As a side note, they caught my attention because the offer through the mail of 0% interest on balance transfers AND purchases until next June, and no annual fee, on top of the smart chip and free reader! Talk about a win-win-win situation!

Best regards,

Mark
