Margureite, I agree that technical analysis is best left to those who are true believers. I take it you are a classic value investor like myself. Still, since so much of this market has been driven by momentum investing, you have to at least pay some attention to it. In AVID's case, surely some of the spike in volume and price has come from momentum investors, who are only in the issue for the short term. They will bail at the first sign of trouble, and in my opinion, it isn't going to take much to point out that this stock has gotten way ahead of itself.
